The Galil Medical Executive Management Team

Martin J. Emerson, President & CEO
Mr. Emerson has a strong track record of over 20 years of accomplishments in the medical device industry, most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer of American Medical Systems (AMS). During his tenure at AMS, he held executive roles including Vice President and General Manager of International, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining AMS, he held senior roles in the overseas operations for several American-based companies including Baxter International and Boston Scientific. Mr. Emerson serves on the Board of Wright Medical and Incisive Surgical and the Board of Vascular Solutions. Mr. Emerson holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Marquette University.

Elissa Lindsoe, Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Lindsoe brings over 20 years of financial experience to Galil Medical. Prior to joining Galil Medical, Ms. Lindsoe was Chief Financial Officer at Urologix, Inc., a publicly traded medical device manufacturing firm serving the urology market, where she oversaw all finance, accounting, supply chain management, customer support, and human resource activities.

From 1990 to 2006, Ms. Lindsoe held various senior finance positions, including Chief Financial Officer at Identix Incorporated, who merged with identification-technology company Viisage to form L-1 Identity Solutions in August 2006.  From 1997 to 2004, Ms. Lindsoe was at Secure Computing Corporation, a publicly traded security software company that was acquired by McAfee Inc. in 2009; her latest position at Secure was Vice President and Treasurer.  Between 1990 and 1997, Ms. Lindsoe held various positions with increasing responsibility at MVE, Inc. and Honeywell, Inc. Elissa earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.

Bill Jacqmein, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Jacqmein brings 20 years of diverse clinical experience to Galil Medical, most recently as Director, Clinical Oncology and Endovations at Boston Scientific. Prior to joining Boston Scientific, he was the Director, Clinical Affairs at Proxima Therapeutics, which was acquired by Cytyc. Mr. Jacqmein holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from Texas A&M University.

Tres Glenn, Vice President, Global Marketing
Mr. Glenn has been with Galil since joining the company in 2001 as a sales representative covering the Southeast and Mid Atlantic states.  He was promoted to Regional Sales Director in 2002 and then Director of Sales, Eastern U.S. in 2006.  In August, 2009 he was named Vice President, Global Marketing.  He is responsible for developing and leading all global strategic marketing initiatives for Galil, as well as identifying, understanding, and assessing new market opportunities for the company.

Prior to joining Galil Medical, Mr. Glenn held sales positions with Physician Sales and Service (PSS) and Coloplast Corporation where he was responsible for a diverse product portfolio to various specialties.  Mr. Glenn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Arizona State University.

Lisa Hayden, Vice President Global Reimbursement
Ms. Hayden has more than 25 years of experience in the health care industry and in her role at Galil has developed the reimbursement program from the ground up.   Her global responsibilities include all aspects of strategic and tactical reimbursement initiatives for Galil Medical. Ms. Hayden participates in reimbursement policy initiatives related to Medicare and Commercial insurance coverage and payment and has a long history of obtaining coverage from major private payers.

Ms. Hayden spent nearly twenty years working in the health care arena. Prior to joining Galil, she worked for the INOVA Health System in Northern Virginia in a variety of positions.  Additionally, she was the Administrative Director of Radiology at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD.  She also worked for ten years at Georgetown University Medical Center in the Interventional Radiology lab and as the Director of Imaging and Faculty Physician Practice Plan. Ms. Hayden holds a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences from Johns Hopkins and is a Registered Radiologic Technologist.

Roy Richard, Vice President Yokneam Technology Centre
Mr. Richard joined Galil Medical in 2008 as Gaill Israel VP of Operations.  In his current role, Mr. Richard is the site leader for Galil’s Innovation Centre in Yokneam, Israel with specific responsibility for disposable research and development, manufacturing and operations.

Prior to joining Galil Medical in 2008, and having concluded a military Mechanical Engineering career as an Israel Navy officer, Mr. Richard has held various manufacturing and operations management positions over a period of 8 years with Kulicke and Soffa Industries (NASDAQ: KLIC) in its Israeli-based divisions, as well as with ADT (a KLIC spin off), in the field of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and disposables. Mr. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, both from Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Andy Swanson, Vice President, US Sales
Mr. Swanson has 22 years of experience in the medical distribution and medical device field.  Prior to joining Galil in 2003, he served in multiple management positions including, surgery sales program manager and product manager for UroMed, a medical device start up and branch manager and regional advisor for Physician Sales and Service (PSS), a global medical distribution company.

During his tenure at Galil Medical and before being promoted to VP, US Sales in August 2009, Mr. Swanson served as Director of Corporate Accounts, Regional Sales Director, and Cryotherapy Specialist for the organization. Mr. Swanson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a double minor in business from Auburn University.
